After two years of dedicated leadership, NeuSpark Person Directed Services bids a heartfelt farewell to Betsy Lynam as she steps away from her role as Executive Director. While transitions are never easy, Betsy leaves NeuSpark PDS stronger, more focused, and well-positioned for continued growth and impact.

During her tenure, Betsy led with clarity, compassion, and a deep commitment to the people we support. Her leadership helped advance NeuSpark’s mission, strengthen internal systems, and foster a culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and person-directed values. Through times of growth and change, she remained steadfast in ensuring that the people supported, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and the broader NeuSpark team were always at the center of every decision.

Betsy’s impact is reflected not only in organizational accomplishments, but in the relationships she built along the way. She took the time to truly know the people behind the work; listening, learning, and leading with empathy. Her presence helped shape a workplace where voices were valued and purpose was shared.

As Betsy prepared for her departure, she shared a message with the NeuSpark community; one that captures her gratitude, optimism, and confidence in the organization’s future:

“As I make my departure today, I can honestly say that my two years with the agency have been wonderfully productive. In partnership with you all, I believe we have set the organization on a bright path for the future. A lot has been accomplished, and I thank you all for your hard work and dedication.I know you will all continue to be engaged in the advancement of our mission, vision, and values, making a difference in the lives of the people we support and their families. I have grown to know so many of you and am so grateful that we have been able to spend some time together making the world a better place!In closing, I thank you for the opportunity to have served as your Executive Director. I know NeuSpark PDS will go on to do great things!”

These words reflect the spirit Betsy brought to NeuSpark PDS every day. A purpose of collaboration, purpose, and belief in what’s possible when people come together in service of others.

While we will miss Betsy’s leadership and presence, we are incredibly thankful for the foundation she helped build. Her contributions will continue to shape NeuSpark PDS as we move forward, guided by the same mission, vision, and values she so thoughtfully championed.
