Ronda Scurry
Ronda is the embodiment of flexibility and selflessness. She approaches her work as a team effort, never limiting herself to a single assignment and always ready to step in wherever support is needed. Ronda takes pride in maintaining a clean, sanitized home and ensures every shift leaves the environment safe and welcoming. What truly sets Ronda apart is her initiative beyond scheduled hours. She creates meaningful activities on her own time, remembers every individual’s birthday, and plans celebrations in advance to ensure everyone feels special. Her consistently positive attitude and willingness to help without complaint make her a shining example of what it means to go the extra mile.
Guerda Christophe
Guerda brings compassion, patience, and advocacy into everything she does. She supports the people we serve with gentle care and thoughtful attention, building relationships that feel more like family than service. As a reliable DSP and strong advocate, Guerda consistently speaks up for those we support, helping guide them toward independence, healthy choices, and personal growth. Her selfless dedication and calm presence create a nurturing environment that reflects NeuSpark’s core values.
Yasmine Crooks
Yasmine is a driving force at the ICF on East 38th Street. She plays a vital role in ensuring residents’ medical and daily needs are met by supporting the manager, nurse, and entire team. From coordinating medical care to cooking, cleaning, and providing active treatment, Yasmine’s contributions are both extensive and impactful. She goes the extra mile by creating engaging activities, teaching dance moves, encouraging art, and coaching sports—while also educating CABs on the unique needs of each individual. Her dedication, encouragement, and consistency have helped elevate both residents and staff alike.
Twanna Alexander
With over 30 years of service at NeuSpark PDS, Twanna continues to go above and beyond with enthusiasm and care. She supports both IRA and ICF teams, stays on top of medical appointments, and handles documentation with exceptional accuracy.
The individuals she supports light up when they see her, and her peers rely on her wisdom and steady presence. Twanna’s reliability, professionalism, and genuine love for her work exemplify the true meaning of going the extra mile.
Latoya Gibson
Latoya consistently exceeds expectations at Asiah’s cluster, taking on responsibilities well beyond her role. With more than a decade of experience, she has earned the trust of her team and the individuals she supports through her leadership and dedication.
Whether completing paperwork, leading community inclusion activities, or stepping in wherever help is needed, Latoya approaches every task with efficiency and care. Her willingness to take initiative makes a lasting impact on both colleagues and those we support.
Marlene Whyte
Marlene leads with kindness, grace, and a genuine desire to help others. She is always willing to step in, offer support, and go above and beyond for her peers and the individuals we serve. Barbara is a cornerstone of the 85th Street team and a true example of going the extra mile. She supports staff through hands-on guidance, mentorship, and availability, even on her days off. She routinely uses her personal time and resources to transport supplies, assist with projects, and ensure residences are fully supported. From purchasing gifts and necessities for individuals to tackling deep-cleaning and organizational projects without being asked, Barbara’s dedication is unmatched. Her reliability, generosity, and tireless work ethic make her a true GEM.

Juliette consistently goes above and beyond through her leadership, reliability, and unwavering support of her team.
