Day Habilitation Without Walls

Community-Based. Person-Centered. Skill-Focused.

Our Day Habilitation Without Walls program offers a dynamic alternative to traditional day services, bringing learning and engagement directly into the community. Participants gain independence, confidence, and real-world skills through hands-on experiences.

Program highlights include:

  • Social skill development through community interaction

  • Daily living skills such as money management and travel training

  • Creative learning through arts, gardening, and workshops

  • Job readiness and vocational exploration

Every Friday includes a recreational outing—bowling, movies, or local shopping—building both confidence and connection. Transportation is provided for all activities to ensure reliable participation.

Community Habilitation

Community Habilitation

Independence. Inclusion. Real-World Skills.

NeuSpark PDS’s Community Habilitation program supports individuals in developing everyday life skills while building independence and community connections. Small-group, weekday programs combine peer interaction with hands-on learning.

Program highlights include:

  • Life Skills Training: cooking, money management, fire safety, community awareness
  • Social Development & Group Discussions: communication, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy
  • Community Outings: trips to museums, restaurants, shows, and more for real-world learning
  • Vocational Skill Building: twice-weekly sessions on employment readiness, volunteer placements, and workplace skills

Our goal is to empower participants to increase independence, foster belonging, and thrive both within and beyond their communities.
